Banquet Servers, Cooks, Concession Stand Workers and Dishwashers

Need a Job? We are looking for Banquet Servers, Concession Stand Workers, Cooks and Dishwashers to work special events in the Ft. Worth Area. We have immediate openings available.

Banquet servers
We are in need of a team of Banquet Servers to staff upcoming engagements. Banquet Servers are responsible for all table service duties as well as prep work and closeout tasks. Professionals with previous waitstaff experience. If you’ve worked in a banquet setting before, we definitely want to hear from you.

General responsibilities include:

  • Run food from the kitchen to the banquet hall on demand
  • Assist with food and table prep before the event begins
  • Set up buffets with food presentation standards and practices in mind, ensuring safe food handling performance
  • Serve plated dinners to guests and respond to requests for beverages, appetizers and other needs
  • Communicate with banquet supervisor as well as other servers and event organizers
  • Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Open wine and take drink orders
  • Clean up venue after event ends and assist with inventory, food storage and other closeout tasks

Cooks
As a cook you will have responsibility of food production in the kitchen operations. You will be responsible for preparing large quantities of food, following standardized recipes, within required production schedule. You must also portion, arrange and garnish food while practicing key sanitation procedures and maintain food at appropriate temperatures.

General responsibilities include:

  • Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Cooks to prepare meals during our dining hours
  • Maintain accurate food inventories
  • Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures
  • Rotate stock items as per established procedures
  • Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts
  • Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift
  • Comply with all policies and procedures for the Food and Beverage department

Dishwashers
Dishwashers are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for china, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, pots and pans using a dishwashing machine and/or a three compartment sink.  This position also ensures the dishwashing area is maintained as a clean, safe and sanitary facility.

General responsibilities include:

  • Operate the industrial dishwasher
  • Wash glassware and other implements by hand when necessary
  • Empty and clean all trash receptacles
  • Clean iced tea, coffee and milkshake machines daily
  • Rotate dishes to reduce wear and tear on resources
  • Clean dish storage
  • Follow sanitation policies at all times
  • Provide assistance to prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak times
  • Perform opening, closing and side work
  • Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately
  • Report any sanitation or janitorial issues to appropriate party

Concession Stand Attendant
First Class Workforce Solutions is looking for friendly and reliable concession stand workers for our valued clients throughout the metropolitan area.  Concession stand workers deal directly with the guests and must be able to stay focused, organized and friendly during fast paced hectic periods. 

General responsibilities include:

  • Serve food and beverages
  • Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and washing dishes, to keep equipment and facilities sanitary.
  • Scrub and polish counters and other equipment.
  • Wrap menu item such as hot dogs, burgers and chicken.
  • Using POS system, calculators, and accept payment or make change.
  • Brew coffee and tea, and fill containers with requested beverages.
  • Cook food or prepare food items, such as sandwiches, salads, and ice cream dishes, using standard formulas or following directions.
  • Replenish foods at serving stations.
  • Balance inventories and payments.
  • Take customers' orders.
  • Add relishes and garnishes to food orders, according to instructions.
  • Deliver orders to kitchens, and pick up and serve food
