First Class Workforce Solutions is looking to hire and dynamic, organized and enthusiastic leader, with experience in hiring/recruiting or high-level management to join our Des Plaines team. We continue to grow and need a recruiter to keep up with our needs. The suburbs around Des Plaines would be the target for recruiting efforts with job fairs, community partners development and job board work. Roughly 90% of the recruiting efforts are to develop talent pools in the North and Northwest suburbs with 10% of the recruiting efforts for downtown Chicago.
First Class Workforce provides temporary staffing services for the food service, hospitality and housekeeping industries throughout the Chicagoland market. We currently have 11 offices across the country and projected to open more locations in 2019.

Experience in the food service or hospitality industry or as a high-volume recruiter is required. Base salary up to $40,000 for the right person. Schedule is usually 7 am to 4 pm and/or 8 am to 5 pm Monday thru Friday.
This position is primarily responsible for identifying candidates to work temporary, contract, or permanent placement positions through recruiting, prescreening, interviewing, and pre-employment testing to build an inventory of qualified potential employees to fulfill current and projected client needs for both the Des Plaines and Chicago Downtown locations. This position helps perform reference checks and ensures compliance with all legal aspects of the recruiting function. May attend job fairs and local professional / association meetings. This person is involved with the development and placing of classified advertisements as necessary and assists the offices with the internal operations as needed.
Our office is looking to hire immediately for this position. The ideal candidate would already be involved in the local food service / hospitality industries and have previous recruiting experience. All candidates must be flexible to attend job fairs at various times / days and assist the office staff when needed. In addition, they must possess effective written and interpersonal communications skills, since they will be working closely with job applicants, employees and hiring managers to ensure that all policies and procedures are being followed. Finally, they must be able to work well under pressure and have the capability to work discreetly with highly confidential information such as salaries and employment records.
- Have 1-2 years of recruiting experience in the hospitality business.
- Are energetic, self starters, and results driven
- Able to handle multiple tasks at once
- Have working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel
- Have a customer is #1 attitude
- Can step in and assist with staffing operations as necessary
- Bilingual speaking is preferred
- Be legal to work in the United States
- Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check and drug screening
