First Class Workforce Solutions is looking to hire an organized and enthusiastic leader, with experience  hiring/recruiting in a high volume environment to join our team. This person will help us build and grow our business in the Saint Louis region by bringing in the best possible candidates to fill open and future positions. First Class Workforce provides temporary staffing and permanent placement services for the food service, hospitality, janitorial, and special event industries nationwide.

This position is primarily responsible for identifying candidates to work temporary, contract, or permanent placement positions through recruiting, prescreening, interviewing, and pre-employment testing to build an inventory of qualified potential employees to fulfill current and projected client needs for Saint Louis location. This position helps perform reference checks and ensures compliance with all legal aspects of the recruiting function. May attend job fairs and local professional / association meetings. This person is involved with the development and placing of classified advertisements as necessary and assists the offices with the internal operations as needed.

Our office is looking to hire immediately for this position. The ideal candidate would already be involved in the local food service / hospitality industries and have previous recruiting experience. All candidates must be flexible to attend job fairs at various times / days and assist the office staff when needed. In addition, they must possess effective written and interpersonal communications skills, since they will be working closely with job applicants, employees and hiring managers to ensure that all policies and procedures are being followed. Finally, they must be able to work well under pressure and have the capability to work discreetly with highly confidential information such as salaries and employment records.

  • Have working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel

  • Are able to step in and assist with staffing operations as necessary

Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of recruiting experience
  • Be legal to work in the United States
  • Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check and drug screening
  • Bilingual speaking is preferred
